There are a couple of different reasons why you would be looking for a new Diablo 2 Classic or Lord of Destruction CD Key. The first reason is the you’ve lost your CD key, but still have your discs. The second reason - and one which is growing in popularity, is because you want to run 2 copies of the game simultaneously.
This is achievable using just one machine, using special programs (which I’m not going to go into now), but many people also use a 2nd machine to run another copy of Diablo 2. I’ve recently done this, which is why I’m writing up this article - to give you my experience.

As a student, you’re gonna be watching a lot of TV no doubt. There’s a few different choices you can go for…you can either stick with the standard 5 terrestrial channels. You could go for freeview…you could even get sky. However, the most popular method for a student is usually Virgin Media (used to be NTL). The reason for this is that they usually do a whole package where you get broadband and phone too. Although it has to be said, no one ever really uses the phone!

When you move in to your student property, first thing you’ll have to do is to set yourself up as the new bill payer. This goes for any service your house recieves which are likely to be gas, electricity and water. Some properties may have Sky TV or cable, but this is something you will know about prior to moving in and would have agreed to take this over from the previous tenant. If not, then just assume you have the 3 main utilities listed above.
Now, there are two ways energy companies use for working out how much electricity/gas you have used.

…Well, not exactly true - but you can now make toast with your computery friend! This is all possible providing you have a spare 5.25″ drive bay at the front of your compuer. Not only this, you’ll also need a 4-pin molex adapter and USB - but I’m sure you’ll have a spare one in your system free for such an invention.

Will I have to pay Council Tax at my Student property?
Good news - as a Student at University, you are exempt from paying Council Tax. So in other words - you don’t have to pay Council Tax on student property (university managed, or letted privately) whilst you are a student at university.
Now, depending where you are in the country and which university you go to - the exemption process differs. I’ve put a few bullet points below of the different ways which are commonly used - please leave comments below if you know of any others

When you go to university, you will be expected to pay bills. If you’re in halls or in university accomodation, this is usually a fixed fee which you pay. However, for those renting their own accomodation privately (something which you’ll do in year 2 and beyond) you will be responsible for paying the bills.
How do I sort out the payment of utility bills (gas, electricity, water etc).
When you move into your new accomodation, you will be met with a few letters from your utility companies. This is of course providing that the previous occupiers have paid their final bills and have informed the utility companies that new tenants are moving in (this will be the case 99% of the time). If not, you may have to chase them up.

You may well be asking yourself right now (or probably not, haha) whether or not you need to, or whether or not you probably should take a printer with you to university. Printers have come down a lot in price, and you can now get a really good one for between £50-80 with lots of others available for cheaper than this. The main cost is ink, but the cartridges do last a long time providing you aren’t printing off hundreds of coloured sheets regularly! So all in all, the price really isn’t huge. But do you really need this extra purchase? You’ve probably already got enough on your list to buy without other things. But, in my opinion it is a wise purchase.

However…which should you go for - should you take a laptop, or should you take a desktop? Firstly…there is one key question you want to ask: What are you going to use it for?

This is a very common question, and one which I’m sure a lot of students are wondering right now. Because of this I thought I’d make a quick post about whether or not you need a license.
Firstly, you need to know if you actually need a license. The criteria for needing one or not is the following: You will need a TV license if you intend to watch live UK broadcasted TV programmes. This includes analogue broadcasts via standard arial, Sky TV, Cable etc.

You are likely to stay in halls for your first year and the prices for this is all set out and agreed before you start. But for year 2, you will likely have to find your own property to live in. This can be quite a stressful time for some as you will have to find your own friends to live with, and find a property which is suitable and agreed on by everyone.
